Wes Benedict appears on FOX's Freedom Watch

On February 4, LP Executive Director Wes Benedict appeared on FOX's Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano. Benedict talked about libertarianism and the Libertarian Party.

Welcome to Let's Talk Libertarian

Tired of the One Party System?
Republicans and Democrats alike are starting to figure it out. While the two major parties of the last 100 years offer speeches that sound slightly different, the actions are simply the same. It's time to break the cycle of moving power to government and away from the citizen - which has been the goal of the one party system disguising itself as two separate parties.

I encourage all of us, whether you are an existing Libertarian, thinking about joining, or simply tired of the current sprint towards socialism, to discuss the ideals, principles, and the actions necessary to restore this country to the flagship of Liberty and Freedom it once was.

Sincerely,
Nick Nottleman - Network Creator

In the first midterm election of the year, with the U.S. Senate seat once occupied by President Barack Obama up for grabs, voters sent a moderate five-term congressman from a wealthy suburb to face off against a 33-year-old state Treasurer who used to play basketball with the president.
Mark Kirk, the Republican congressman, won his primary by nearly 40 percentage points, according t… Continue

Terrified of Capitalism III

What is thoroughly wrongheaded, though, is to attribute the failings of this government in any way to the free market. The government and the interests it upheld, those of the top 10% shareholder class, consisted of individuals who were always opposed to capitalism and utterly terrified of it.

That’s not to say that they aren’t smart. The current situation in this country is a brilliant scheme to benefit the very few at the expense of the majority. One of the central figures of the scheme is it… Continue
